About this resource

This is a complete, ready-to-teach planning system for Grade 1 English Language Arts and Reading in Alabama. It maps a full year to the 2021 Alabama Course of Study: English Language Arts - 9 units, 36 instructional weeks and 180 daily plans - and supplies it in two matching versions.

The COMPLETED planner is written out in full, so you can adapt a realistic year instead of starting from a blank page. The completed version also carries a fictional teacher reflection you can replace with your own.

Standards alignment

Mapped to the 2021 Alabama Course of Study: English Language Arts, issued by the Alabama State Department of Education. The planner cites Grade 1 Standards 1 to 43 and Recurring Standards R1 to R5 across the year. Standard references were transcribed from the official source document; verify they are current before school submission.

How to use it
